Category 2 workshops invite more experienced Diploma Programme (DP) leaders and subject group teachers who are keen to improve the teaching and learning experience.

Creativity, activity, service

Enhance CAS experience, share strategies, and implement DP policies and procedures.

Extended essay

Enhance EE supervision, connect EE with DP core, and manage academic integrity.

Theory of knowledge

Improve TOK teaching, deepen understanding, and implement effective course outlines.

CATEGORY 3

For educators with substantial IB experience, the focus is on subject area delivery and deepening the understanding and meaning of an IB education.

CAS: The transforming power of experiential learning

Share CAS experiences, deepen knowledge, and develop project methodology and reflection activities.

The DP core: Improving student engagement and performance in TOK, CAS and EE

Increase student engagement in DP core elements, develop practical strategies, and support lifelong learning.

TOK: Helping students write strong TOK essays and assessing their work

Develop strategies for TOK essay writing, understand assessment rubrics, and assess sample essays.

TOK for subject teachers
