The IB philosophy is encapsulated in the IB mission statement and aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, caring and internationally-minded young people wherein TOK plays a central role. In addition, the workshop focuses on:

  • Unpacking the Theory of knowledge guide and associated course requirements.
  • Structuring a TOK course that integrates authentic assessment and encourages students to make links across the DP that will enhance their understanding.
  • Exploring the dynamic nature that exists between other DP core elements and TOK when emphasizing the importance of reflecting and developing self-awareness.
